Heat Check Girls Basketball Camp in Fairfield County

Heat Check Girls Basketball Camp gives young female basketball players from across Fairfield County an opportunity to develop their skills, compete, and build confidence on the court.   Designed specifically for girls who love basketball and want to improve their game, Heat Check combines focused skill development with competitive drills, games, and a fun summer camp atmosphere.   Players of different experience levels come together for a week centered around learning, competing, and becoming more confident basketball players.   Girls Basketball Camp in Fairfield County Heat Check is a fully licensed, full-day girls basketball camp for players entering grades 3–7, running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.   Our daily basketball curriculum emphasizes the fundamental skills young players need to continue developing their games. Throughout the week, campers work on areas including:   Shooting technique and finishing Ball-handling and control Passing and court awareness Footwork and movement Individual offensive skills Team concepts and decision-making Competitive drills and game situations Campers are grouped appropriately to create an environment where players can be challenged, improve their skills, and enjoy competing alongside other girls who share their interest in basketball.   Skill Development and Competitive Basketball One of the goals of Heat Check Girls Basketball Camp is to give players plenty of opportunities to apply what they learn. Congratulations to 6th grade for winning the Zero Gravity Memorial Day Madness tournament in dominating fashion this weekend. They defeated Connecticut Elite - JW by 11 points, Connecticut Elite - CW by 3 points, DTX by 32 points and Shockers - Dre by 28 points in the Championship Game !

 5th Grade pulled off the upset today in the Championship Game with a 46 - 32 win over ACC, to win the first tournament of the spring season!   Cam Lominy and Paxton Pritchett came through with dominant performances on the biggest stage to lead Fierce.

Carlo Noecker Named to FCIAC First Team as a Junior

 Congratulations to Fierce alum Carlo Noecker on earning FCIAC First Team honors.  Carlo played Fierce from 5th through 8th grade, and through years of hard work developed into one of the top players in the area.  He also ranks as one of the top rebounders in Fierce history.  Proud of you Carlo.

Jack Plesser Named Player of the Year for the Liberty League

 We are beyond proud to share that long-time Fierce player Jack Plesser has been recognized as 2025-26 Player of the Year for the Liberty League !   Jack started with us in 5th grade and played all the way through high school. His hard work and eye-opening improvement year by year were amazing to watch.  Jack's junior season made history, as he climbed to sixth on Union College's all-time single-season scoring list with 566 points and his 22.6 points per game average is also fifth-best by a Union player.   In only three seasons, Jack already ranks 13th in Union College basketball history with 1,263 points and his 16.4 points per game scoring average is currently ninth-best among Union basketball players all-time.   Here is the official announcement – Liberty League reveals 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Awards
